Multiple websites offer different study resources and packets. Evolve also offers study manuals and guides for purchase. 

What do I need to study for the HESI?

For the HESI, the subjects you need to study depend on the modules required by your program. The most tested modules are Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology. 

Is there a HESI study guide?

There is no official HESI study guide. You can build your own study guide by researching, gathering different study materials and resources, and structuring them in the most helpful way. 

What is the best way to study for the HESI?

The best way to study for the HESI is to first research what subjects you need to review. 

 

After doing this, you should organize your materials and make a study plan. Make sure you give yourself enough time to review each module properly. 

 

After your review, you can take practice exams that will help you assess your level of preparation. Use the results from these exams to locate your weaker areas. 

How long should I study for the HESI A2?

It is advised that you take at least a month to study for the HESI.

There are also several courses you can take that charge a monthly fee of over 70$. 

What should I focus on for the HESI A2?

For the HESI, you should focus on the three main areas you will be tested on: Language, Mathematics, and Science. 

 

Each of these areas is covered within multiple modules on the HESI. Be careful when studying, and make sure you don't overlook any material.

How do I access my HESI case study?

You will find your HESI case studies in the HESI NG Preparation Suite.  

 

If you have registered for the HESI through an institution, there are two scenarios to consider: 

 

If your institution has enrolled only one class in the HESI prep suite, you can go to the 'Assignments' tab and then click on the title of the assignment. 

 

If your institution has enrolled multiple classes in the HESI prep suite, you can view assignments organized by class under 'My Resources.' From there, you can click on one of the classes and select the assignment you wish to start. 

What are HESI remediation packets? 

The HESI remediation packets are study material recommendations to improve your knowledge in certain areas. 

 

You will find these packets on your score report, as they are directly related to your scores on the exam modules. 

What is a HESI case study?

A HESI case study is part of your preparation process. They are real-world scenarios that follow a patient along with a set of changing circumstances. The entire process includes evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. 

 

You are given multiple questions. If you answer correctly, you will receive explanations for each possible answer. If you answer incorrectly, you are only given the explanation for the answer you selected. You must select the correct answer before you are allowed to proceed. 

 

After finishing, you will receive your score. You can retake case studies as many times as you need to.
